Through a unique collaboration between Lövsta Future Challenge and FEI World Cup™ organizers Gothenburg Horse Show, Jumping Amsterdam and World Cup Vilhelmsborg, the new Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour, which is aimed at dressage U25 riders, is now launching. The concept creates opportunities for U25 riders to compete in the international arenas where FEI Dressage World Cup™ events are also held.

Bo Jenå, chef d´Equipe for the Swedish dressage team, is positive about the tour:

- "I am very much looking forward to following Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour, and in special since it’s held at such well-known and established events as in Gothenburg, Amsterdam and Vilhelmsborg. For us, in the national team management, the U25-riders are an important category of riders to follow. They are about to take the leap into Grand Prix-level, and we believe it is important for them to be able to measure themselves against equal, international riders before they enter senior level."

Each event has a total of 8 competitors, with the organizing countries Sweden, Denmark and Holland each having (at least) two places. All countries are invited to apply for the two remaining places. Each event consists of two classes; FEI U25 Grand Prix followed by FEI Grand Prix Kür. First to go is World Cup Vilhelmsborg, 17-23 October.

Antonia Ax:son Johnson, owner of Lövsta Stuteri and founder of the Lövsta Future Challenge, is happy to be increasingly involved in dressage sports;

- "My lifelong passion for horses and my unwavering belief in the developmental power of young talent have shaped Lövsta Stuteri's operations since the beginning over 20 years ago. The Lövsta Future Challenge has become our guiding light as we realize this vision. Now we are taking yet another step with the Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour, where young dressage talent gains international experience at the highest level. It is a great pleasure to once again extend our support to equestrian sports in this way," says Antonia.

The bonus is awarded to the horse and rider that has participated in at least two of the events, of which Gothenburg Horse Show must be one, and has the highest average percentage in the U25 Grand Prix.

- "Top level dressage has made great progress in recent years! Working with the Lövsta Future Challenge Dressage International Tour U25, it feels great that we can continue to create more opportunities for this development," says Tomas Torgersen, Show Director at Gothenburg Horse Show.
