Excitement is in the air as the Longines Global Champions Tour arrives at Stockholm Stadion, offering audiences a thrilling opportunity to witness the future stars of show jumping in the esteemed Lövsta Future Challenge International Young Horses competition. The national team management has selected the ten horses that will represent Sweden's blue and yellow colors.

“There were many who want to ride these classes, and it is gratifying that we have had so many high-quality horses to choose from. We could have filled even more spots, but we believe we have landed on a good group,” says Henrik Ankarcrona, Chef d’equipe of the Swedish jumping team.

“We are incredibly grateful to Lövsta for providing our rising stars with the chance to experience this environment and gain invaluable experience on international competitions like this,” Henrik adds.

One of the selected horses is Qurious HS (SWB, Comme iL Faut-Diamant de Semilly, bred by Linn Holm, owned by Grevlundagården in Vitaby & Haras de Prepinson). Paired with Nicole Holmén, this dynamic duo won the Lövsta Future Challenge Jumping final for young horses at the Gothenburg Horse Show and has continued to deliver stellar performances.

“I am overjoyed and excited! Qurre, as we call him, is truly an exceptional horse with immense talent and capacity. Competing in such a grand arena like Stockholm Stadion will be an absolute thrill,” says Nicole Holmén.

Mark your calendars for June 28-30, when a total of 30 seven-year-old horses will take to the field. 20 spots are reserved for riders competing in the five-star classes, while ten are dedicated to national combinations.

“We look forward to seeing the seven-year-old horses return to Stockholm Stadion. Swedish show jumping is experiencing remarkable success, and Lövsta Future Challenge is committed to nurturing the next generation of champions. Competitions like this provide experience and training for future challenges,” says Emelie Broman Tegelberg, project manager Lövsta Future Challenge.
