Ingrid Gjelsten wins the Lövsta Future Challenge International Jumping U25

During the weekend some of the best U25 riders in Europé has gathered in Stockholm during Longines Global Championstour. In the course of three days the young talents have had the opportunity to compete in the same arena as some of the best riders in the world in Lövsta Future Challenge International. In today´s 150 Grand Prix nobody could beat Ingrid Gjelsten and Jackson v d Bisschop after a thrilling jump off.

It was a beautiful but very hot summer day when the young stars entered the arena in the Sunday afternoon. The course was challenging but fair and 5 riders made it to jump off. It was the last rider of the day, Ingrid Gjelsten, who settled the scores. With a very fast and impressive ride, she took home the win.

– ”I´m so happy with my horse today and I had so much fun in the arena. We haven´t really jumped that many big classes like this so I´m really pleased with the result” – Ingrid stated after the prize giving".

Sara Vingralkova with Kas-Sini DC from Czech Republic secured the second place. On third place, and best of the Swedish rider was Andrea Persson with Las Vegas, who had a great weekend in Stockholm and was placed in all three classes.

-” I never rode so fast that I did today and I wanted to win so badly. But I´m so thankful to be able to compete on a competition like this. It´s so motivating seeing some of the best riders in the world, it really gives you inspiration that I bring home with me”.
