22 oktober 2022
Among the participating U25 riders in the first round of the Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour, the Danish audience got to experience future world stars in the making.
After yesterday's opening U25 Grand Prix, there were a total of eight crews from four nations competing in today's Kür.
-"I´m so happy with my horse, we really love to ride our Freestyle. He nows his music and we just enjoy our dances together in arenas like this. Verdi de La Fazenda is bred and raised by our family, so he has been with me my whole life. I´m so grateful for all the experiences we get to have together", says Thalia after the ride.
World Cup Vilhelmsborg is the first leg in the total of three in the new concept Lövsta Future Challenge International Tour. The concept creates opportunities for U25 riders to compete in the international arenas where competitions in the FEI Dressage World Cup™ are also held. The next stop is Jumping Amsterdam and the tour concludes during Gothenburg Horse Show 22-26 February 2023.
Big prize money to be won at Gothenburg Horse Show
During Gothenburg Horse Show, an extra prize pool of SEK 100 000 may be awarded to an overall winner. To be able to win the title Overall Winner, the combination rider/horse must have participated in at least two of three legs in the LFC International Tour, where Gothenburg Horse Show must be one of them.
Overall winner will be the rider that has achieved the highest average percentage at a total of two LFC International Tour competitions, where Gothenburg Horse must be one of them. If the rider has participated on all three occasions, the two best results are counted. The results for Overall Winner are taken from the results in FEI U25 Grand Prix.
